UNSHAKEN.
"Babe, wake up," Thelma said, her excitement jolting her husband from sleep.
"It's 2:30 a.m., Thelma. What's up?" Tony asked, sitting upright.
"I had the dream again. A man in a white robe, with a glowing face, came to me and gave me twins. Two beautiful girls. I can feel them coming," Thelma explained, rubbing her tummy gently.
"It's been seven years, sweet. You've been having this same dream for seven years. Well, I join my faith with yours, the children will come. Can I go back to bed now?" Tony said, yawning.
"You don't sound like you believe. I know it's been hard, having our hopes dashed and all, but I really feel now is the time," Thelma said, glancing at her tummy.
"Okay, baby. I believe." He planted a kiss on her forehead and went back to bed.
Thelma understood her husband. They had been trusting God for a child for seven years. Constant miscarriages, failed IVFs—but she believed the time had truly come.

A few days later……
"Babe, it’s happening again… my periods are heavier than ever, my stomach feels constantly full, my back aches, and I’m drained all the time. This isn’t the first time, and I can’t keep ignoring it. We need to run some tests and find out what’s really going on," Thelma complained.
"You're right. Let's make an appointment with the doctor. It's time we get to the bottom of this," Tony responded, helping his wife walk properly.
"Uterine fibroids… how?" Tony asked, looking at the test results from the hospital.
"I don't know," Thelma broke down in tears.
"No baby, please don't cry. We're going through this together. You are not alone," Tony said reassuringly, pulling her into his embrace.
"Hysterectomy," she said, her voice breaking. "They have to take out my womb."
Tony didn’t have words. He just held his wife tightly. He had always wanted children, but he loved her more than anything. He couldn’t put her life at risk.
"We have to do the surgery, baby. We must," he said quietly, his tone full of care and finality.
A few weeks after the surgery…...
Thelma sat quietly in the living room, her hands resting gently on her lap where her womb once was. The scars were healing, but the ache of loss still lingered. Yet, her heart beat with a different rhythm, one of unwavering faith.
Tony looked at her, admiration shining in his eyes. “How do you keep so strong?” he asked softly.
Thelma smiled, her eyes steady and bright. “Because I refuse to consider the deadness of my body. God told Abraham to trust Him even when his body was dead, and Sarah to believe for a child when she was barren. I’m holding on to that promise.”
She stood up, walking with purpose. “The doctors said I can’t carry children now, but I say, God is the God of the impossible. I will conceive. I will carry life, not by what the world sees, but by faith in what God can do.”
Tony reached for her hand. “We’re in this together. I believe with you.”
Weeks passed, and Thelma’s faith only grew stronger. Each morning she declared life over her body and spoke blessings over the space where her womb once was. She trusted God to do what no one else could.
A few months later....
Thelma’s faith became her reality. Despite all odds, she conceived—and not just one, but twins.
Against every expectation, she carried them with strength and joy, and gave birth to two beautiful girls, proof that with faith, nothing is impossible.
Dearly Beloved,
God's message to you today is to have an unshaken faith.
Don't let the reports of men cause your faith to shake.
Don't let the circumstances around you cause your faith to shake.
Even though the answer seems not forthcoming. Hold on to His word. Believe His word. Confess His word.
Despite all odds, Thelma’s story was about to prove that faith can move beyond the limits of the natural. That even when the body says no, God says yes.
Hold on to His word!
