Child-like.
One day, I watched a little child run into her father’s arms, laughing without a care in the world. No hesitation, no fear, just trust. And in that moment, it hit me: this is how God wants me to come to Him.
Not with performance, but with presence.
Not with pride, but with dependence.
Not as an expert, but as a child.

1 John 3:1 (NIV)
See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!
Dearly Beloved,
You are God’s child. God is your Father. Say it aloud and let it sink in: “God is my Daddy.”
He’s not like any earthly father you’ve known. His love isn’t flawed, conditional, or limited.
While your earthly father loves you because you're his child, God made you His child because He loves you.
If we spent our entire lives trying to grasp the depth of God's love, we still wouldn't reach the end of it. Scripture says He has lavished His love on us — generously, without holding back.
So God sees you as His child. The only right response is to come to Him like one
.
A child doesn’t hesitate to run to their father.
A child depends on their father to take each step.
A child trusts, asks, and rests in their father’s presence.
Don’t try to run your life on your own. Ask your Father for help.
It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. He hasn’t disowned you. He never will. Your Daddy is waiting for you.
Matthew 18:3 says, “Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
That’s not just about heaven as a place — it’s about stepping into the reality and revelation of God’s heart here and now.
You won’t fully encounter the depth of who He is until you become child-like before Him.
So when you come into His presence, come like a child.
Ask questions. Listen. Depend. Trust.
Don’t just run to Him when there’s a problem — come simply because you enjoy Him.
A child delights in being with their father.
You’re not just a servant. You're a son. You're a daughter.
Let your heart stay child-like before Him. That’s where real intimacy grows.
